This paper is part of a broader analysis on scaling domestic sustainable finance in Kenya and is being led by the International Finance Corporation and UNEP’s Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System. The IFC, as the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries, has been utilizing its investment and advisory services to develop local financial markets and leverage the private sector to advance innovative and viable solutions to ensure environmental and social sustainability.
