El informe GEO SANTIAGO analiza la situación medioambiental de la ciudad de Santiago de Chile, capital de Chile y de la Región Metropolitana de Santiago. La Región está localizada en el centro del territorio nacional y se divide en seis Provincias las cuales son: Chacabuco, Maipo, Melipilla, Santiago, Talagante y Cordillera. A su vez, éstas se subdividen en Comunas.
