This Global Status Report will address the 3 specific MEAs (global climate, hazardous wastes and POPs). After a general introduction on Multilateral Environmental Agreements, from each specific MEA the main objectives and goals will be described with main emphasis on the preventive elements in it. Followed by a brief introduction and current approach and the present implementation status.
