This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP GEF project implemented between 2006 and 2012. The project's objective was to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from urban transportation. It aimed to do this by improving the Jakarta Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, known as Trans Jakarta, and support its system manager a unit with the same name, that was part of the City Government known as DKI Jakarta. The evaluation set out to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements and to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and their executing partners – ITDP and the relevant agencies of DKI Jakarta.
