At present, a new branch of biology is rapidly developing, namely mycotoxicology which is the science dealing with toxic metabolites of microscopic fungi (moulds) mycotoxins. The problem of mycotoxins attracts such a great attention on the part of specialists in various fields of knowledge duo to, first. indisputable evidence of their real danger to human health; second, their extremely wide, practically world-wide spread and, third, a rather considerable economic losses inflicted by them.
