UNEP Evaluation Office (2019)

This report is a terminal evaluation of a UN Environment-GEF project implemented between 2011 and 2017. The project aimed to increase overall knowledge of planning, designing and implementing sustainable transport systems in developing cities in East Africa, and reduce GHG emissions from the transport sector globally. The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability.
