dc.description | Methomyl is a white crystalline solid with a melting point of 77 °C. It is soluble in water and in many organic solvents. It is stable at temperatures up to 140 °C; the autoignition temperature is 265 °C. Methomyl is stable in sterile distilled water at pH values of 5-7 but decomposes increasingly with higher pH and temperature levels. Its half-life in water at pH 9 is 30 days. | en_US |
