Since 2001, the National Marine Environment Forecasting Center has started its marine ecological forecasting operation, including high-resolution marine ecological numerical forecasting, marine ecological disaster trend forecasting, and major marine ecological and environmental incidents early warning service. It has developed a multi-factor, multi-disaster, multi-scale marine ecological and environmental forecasting system and operational products. Considering the need of marine ecological civilization construction and climate change response, the basic operational work will be expanded and deepened in the future, which will involve the monitoring and forecasting of ocean acidification, coastal erosion, marine pasture and other fields.en_US
