| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to review the published literature on vanadium insofar as it relates to environmental problems. A summary is given of vanadium concentrations in soil, water, air, fossil fuels and biological materials. This is followed by a discussion of biological functions and toxicity of vanadium.
