dc.descriptionThe meeting will discuss the process for establishing a Transboundary Marine Protected Area between Kenya and Tanzania including, reviewing transboundary issues between South Coast in Kenya; Tanga; Pangani; Zanzibar and Pemba in Tanzania, and initiate a dialogue between the two governments. The meeting will also focus on defining scope for cooperation regarding assessment, monitoring and management of transboundary issues, identifying suitable MPA Management Scenarios for the MPA’s established. We have invited Global Environmental Facility (GEF), as we consider a project proposal for establishing a transboundary MPA.en_US
