Report of the Thematic Cluster on Science-Policy Interface to the Plenary of the 15th Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum There are several issues of significance to Major Groups and Stakeholders in Draft Decision #5, Omnibus Decision on Science-Policy Interface. These issues also relate to the program of work and budget reflected in Draft Decisions #1 and #2. Due to the need first to seek clarification about the UNEP budget and program of work and second to learn something of the reasons for the bracketed text in Decision #5, the cluster did not as yet produce a statement or recommendations. Simply put, we need to do more research. When this research has been completed, the Science and Technology Major Group will take the lead in drafting intervention(s) and/or statements, inviting other Major Groups and Regional Representatives to provide input and to indicate their support for the final text(s).en_US
