dc.descriptionThe present report contains the results of the survey for oil slicks and tar balls in coastal waters and on beaches of the Sultanate of Oman. During the mission a number of environmental samples were taken for chemical quantification of oil as well as other substances. These analyses were conducted in the IAEA International Laboratory of Marine Radioactviity in Monaco and in the Kuwait Institiute for Scientific Research.
