The 69th General Assembly on 29 December 2015 adopted a resolution 69/245 on Oceans and Law of the Seas. Rererence was made to the 'Future we Want' document whish states that Oceans, Seas and Coastal areas forms an essential component of the Earth ecosystem that is critical to sustain it.
